This is a wonderful wooden Native American doll with original clothing. He is pretty much untouched. He may have had a jacket or vest but I don't see any signs of that. His head is removeable but looks completely original. He is hand sewn clothes, has bead work around his sleeves but nowhere else. His boots are sturdy leather with leather trim in colors of red and tan. The wooden torso is in two pieces allowing him to bend at the waist about 1/2" back and forth. He is heavy for his size. His legs are wooden also and they move just a little. The boots are rigid so I can't tell how big around the legs are but I can tell that the leather is not wrapped tightly around the wood.
He is in very good condition with the nice look and patina of an old wooden doll. He is 14" tall and circa 1880
