Left behind is this loved and worn Beecher type doll. She needs a dress and stockings and shoes. When the others left to go to the auction gallery, she, and a few others were left behind in the "Needs clothes box". It is hard to find a really mint Beecher doll, most all of them have some weakness in the two layers of black stockinette stretched over their features . She is fragile and dear and really needs a home in a quiet corner to chill and be herself. She is 21" tall and circa 1900 Notice, All of my dolls are going to be sold at auction in the fall. 300 to 400 of them. They will be on line for 30 days so there is plenty of time to look them over and ask questions. Then on the 30th day the auction will take final bids. All lots will start at $1.00 and there are no reserves. (Meaning if no one else bids on the doll or doll lot you will buy it for a $1.00 (My hope is that doesn't happen too many times...smiling.
